Blog ("web-log")

As an instant webpublishing tool, a blog or a wiki allows you to keep a public written account of your reactions to course materials, develop ideas collaboratively about a topic, or to share your thoughts with others who (hopefully) will "traffic" your site, read your insights and post their responses. Because it is public and because it allows for others to comment on (and link to) you, blogs and wikis can also serve as a way to create a network with those who share interests, questions and pursuits.
